Helsinki Analog Festival
The memories from that day are still rolling strong in our heads, projecting something truly special.
On Sunday, April 19th, at the rather unusual early-bird hour of 10:00 a.m., our ELK lab members set out to meet you for the very first time.
We couldn’t imagine of a better moment or a place to introduce ourselves than during the Helsinki Analog Festival, by @finnishdarkroom right in the archive cinema Kino Regina @kinoregina
As part of our Matinée we had for you:
Kurotus / Reach (2026)
by Joona Mäkelä
→ 2×16mm projection
→ 6 min
Warm Data (2024)
by Natalia Kozieł-Kalliomäki
→ 2×16mm + overhead projector
→ 22 min
Huomenna maalissa – The Finish Line of Tomorrow (2025)
by Joakim Pusenious & Lasse Vairio
→ 35mm horizontal projection
→ 21 min
Thank you for your warm reception! We are deeply grateful to the festival organizers for the invitation, and to every one of you who decided to join us so early in that day. The best live audience ever and possibly some of the future members of our newly born film lab.
That collective energy will stay with us for a long time, keep inspiring to build best for the ELK lab and film community.
